It's Time for a Change: Reprogram Your Intuitive Self.

August 16, 2016
Are you wanting to make a change but you keep gathering the opinions of others?

Well-meaning friends, family, and coworkers may inadvertently delay this change by offering input which amounts to a distraction.

Think about this: Researchers at the University of California, Irvine, found that after careful observation the typical office worker is interrupted or switches tasks, on average, every three minutes and five seconds. And it can take 23 minutes and 15 seconds just to get back to where they left off.

Taking this into account, consider working out the inner bugs first before presenting your "change" to others. Being able to intuit the best timing and delivery for sharing your plan will assure a smooth transition for everyone.

Adjustments in life can be difficult and the process of fine-tuning them is a personal one. It's natural to want input and feedback because our decisions have an effect on those around us. Some even turn to social media to test the validity of their idea or inspiration. Intuitively speaking, this isn't helpful.
Here's what I commonly see in the office. People are on track with their intuition and ready for change, but they get distracted with the opinions of others. Together we go back and reprogram their intuitive self to be the loudest voice they hear.

Fear is necessary when there is danger and in those situations, its best to listen and react quickly. But if there is no imminent danger, what you may be hearing is the personal baggage of others.

Recognizing this will bring you back into your own intuition. Your body will respond in a way that feels like itself. Being back in your own skin will free you to focus on your life.

Until next time,
